Privacy
TailVideos stores the account and upload data needed to run the archive. Questions about this page go through the contact page. TailVideos is part of the Tail group, with the other Tail sites named in the footer.
Account data
We store your sign-in identity, spotter profile fields, upload history, and the settings needed to operate the site. Signing in sets a session cookie so the account stays signed in. That session cookie is separate from advertising cookies.
Media and metadata
Uploaded video, derived stills, and extracted aircraft metadata are stored so clips can be published here and on affiliated Tail properties.
Operational use
We use logs, queue state, and processing metadata to keep uploads durable and to recover from failures.
